I'm just freestyling on this post...This is the second time I've seen this item and I love it even more. Anne Hathaway wore this Marc Jacobs sash to Elle Women in Hollywood event back in October and Beyonce has the same sash on for the January cover( What a coincidence Elle!)
Nevertheless, I can imagine this being worn (by me) so may way.... The pattern was actually used quite a bit in his Spring 09 RTW collection...more to come on that
For purchase information on this smashing sash, please visit www.marcjacobs.com

As I Am: Outfit of the Day
I decided to do a DBN. I doubt this will be a regular occurrence because I don't have the patience to take a picture of my outfit everyday... I've tried. It didn't last very long. But here's one for old times sake. I don't recall off the top of my head which bag I wore that day, so you'll have to freestyle that one.
1. Shirt : I got this shirt from Clovis Boutique in Seoul. It's not available online, but you can freestyle with something similar that can be found anywhere in the land. Here's my pick:
Sweet Pea by Staci Frati

MANic Monday: Don't SWEAT the technique
About a week ago, a friend of mine showed me a picture of his girlfriend and him together. She looked great and was dressed to the nines. He, on the other hand, had on a tee shirt and gym shoes. (Big NO NO!) He looked terrible! I told him that he could have at least put on a sweater. He totally ruined the picture. The sweater paired with a collared shirt has replaced the bow tie as my favorite ensemble to see a man in. There is nothing sexier than a man in a nice sweater and jeans...except for maybe me in anything...*jokes* Fellas, it's a good go-to look if you're trying to escape the faded and/or baggy Tee Shirt look. Whether it be a bright color or a relaxed neutral tone, it borders on the brink of dressy and casually cool style.
Star Style:
Pharrell looks absolutely divine in his sweater and coordinating tie.
Kanye opted for stripes and cuff links and looks great effortlessly.
Here, Brad Pitt keeps it simple and relaxed.
Street Style:
This look is just not for "celebs". This versatile look can be worn to just about any everyday function...Take a look below for reference.
My Picks

Color Me Bad!
It's almost that time of year again ladies... New Year's Eve! Thinking back on the ghosts of New Year's past, I've realized that I've always worn a black dress. Whether it was a mini, ruched, or even a wrap, it was always black. To make things worse, not only did I have on a black dress, plenty of other ladies did too. That's definitely not a good look. Not Dopalicious at all... To ensure that doesn't happen this go around, I've decided to make a spice things up with some color. Here are my top picks:
Ellie Owen
Athena Dress
This gorgeous creation is from a young designer from New York named Ellie Owen. I am in love with his entire "Uncollected Collection", but if I had to pick one, it would definitely be this one! He's definitely a designer to watch in the future. For pricing and purchase details, please visit his website.myspace.com/ldc86
Miss Me
MM Couture Asymmetrical Plum Dress
SALE $85.00
http://store.missme.com/mmcd272plum.html
I chose this one because it's asymmetrical and above all, purple. Purple is one of my mainstays in my color pallet, so aside from the gorgeous cut, it was an easy choice for me.
Anna Sui
Multi Wavi Dress
SALE $171.50
http://www.chickdowntown.com/viewproduct.asp?ID=89529
This dress is gorgeous. I'm still debating in whether or not it's dressy enough for a New Years party, however, I'm still in love with it. It speaks to me personally. It's almost as if it were made exclusively for me. The teal bodice is dope and the cut would look great on a woman of any size. I recommend this to anyone.
BEBE
Sequin Cowl neck Dress
SALE $79.50
http://www.bebe.com/gp/product/B001DHN2B8/sr=1-38/qid=1229850515/ref=sr_1_38/179-5291659-5318959?ie=UTF8&fontColor=&node=1250737011&m=A2FMOXN01TSNYY&totalItemIn1Page=&startIndex=0&displayPageNum=1&bbBrand=core&field-clothing-size=&keywords=&firstPageItemNum=40&title=&restPageHasColor=0&myViewID=embedded-leaf&displaySalePrice=1&displayItemNum=101&standardPageSize=16&size=101&rh=n%3A1250737011&page=1&bgColor=
I chose this one because it reminds me of the ball that drops at midnight. BeBe always has at least one go-to dress for every occasion. Whether or not I would wear it is the question. While it is a great dress. The chances of running into someone with it are very high!
Karen Zambos
Emerald Green Wiggle Dress
$458
http://www.chickdowntown.com/designerproducts.asp?designerID=65809
The simplicity of this dress is actually what led me to it. The cut is simple classic. You could literally dress this up any way you wanted to. It's very versatile.
Betsy Johnson
Chffon and Charmeuse Strapless Tiered Sheath dress.
$360.00
http://www.betseyjohnson.com/store/productdetails2.aspx?categoryid=1101&productid=6418&np=1101
This dress is classic Betsy Johnson! It's a breath of fresh air. It's fun, free spirited, and it's definitely a show stopper. Dope...enough said.
Budget Minded Babe Picks:
Forever 21
Silky Origami Dress
$19.80
http://www.forever21.com/product.asp?
The detailing on this dress is great. But I would definitely do a pre-inspection on it before plunking down my cash. You wouldn't want one of the seems stressed on the first night. That definitely wouldn't be a good look. The price, however, is unbeatable.
Charlotte Russe
Ruched Tube Dress
$32.99
http://www.charlotterusse.com/family/index.jsp?clickid=cat_leftnav_txt&cp=2843536&categoryId=2744998&view=all
The color of this dress is dope and the ruching will either compliment or create a curvy figure depending on your body type. Great buy for the budget minded diva.
Happy Shopping,
Until then....

MANic Mondays
Ladies,
Nothing says love more than keeping your "boo thang" or "future baby daddy" warm this holiday season. No one wants a guy with a cold (or an ugly coat) hanging all over them. At the advice of a friend of mine, I decided to dedicate Mondays to man style. I'd like to call it "MAN"ic Mondays. Get it? In honor of the absolutely gorgeous peacoat mi hombre purchased for the chilly days ahead, I thought we could start things off with coats.

Don't Have a Cowl!?
One of my favorite winter items is a cowl neck sweater. The sweater is usually shapeless and unflattering, but belting one can make it extremely sexy and stylish. When I saw what A.F. Vandevorst did with their halters in their Fall 08 RTW collection, I fell in love with the cowl neck all over again. They can literally be worn several different ways, but be careful how you fold the neck. You could end up looking like an astronaut without the helmet. Here's one of my favorite ensembles:

iSPY trends
Lace is making a comeback in a big way. Gone are the days of the trashy, Appolonia and Vanity 6 inspired days when entire outfits were made out of lace, chiffon, and spandex all rolled into one ball. The key to rockin' this trend the right way is moderation. Find a key piece to accentuate an independently sexy outfit.
Don't: Go overboard!
An entire lace outfit is a nothing more than a gigantic stocking!
Do: Keep it simple! A little goes a long way with this look.
Cool find of the day:
